The First Club Meeting of 2018

The Ambassador of Lithuania Rolandas Krisciunas shared insights of political  and economical situation in the Baltic region and presented planned events to celebrate the Centennial of the restored Lithuania. Also, the Club welcomed new board members, reviewed achievements of 2017 and presented a work plan for 2018.

Club Meeting with Ilja Laurs

Club meets Ilja Laurs, serial entrepreneur & venture investor with a track record of building nine-figure companies from scratch and multiple exits. Currently chairs Nextury Ventures and invests in multiple high-tech areas such as 3D printing, fin tech, sharing economy, mobile and smart sports.

Trivia Night 

Club members and their guests participated in a trivia night, that was hosted by Andrius Pieslikas, who came all the way from Lithuania. The best host, three teams of "geeks", 50  fun and sometimes challenging questions about Lithuania and beyond gave an amazing trivia experience for everyone.

Rotary Club of Chicago Lithuanians Fundraising Event

DCLPC participated in the Rotary Club of Chicago Lithuanians Fundraising event. The club purchased 3 raffle tickets for $300 and won a prize of $1000, which was donated to Oncology Family Support Center in Lithuania.

Club members had a chance to meet with a real estate expert and learn about Real Estate market in DC Metro area, which has been rising up rapidly during last years. Mr. Lickunas shared his success story and insightful experience, as well as had an engaging discussion about risks and potential profits in Real Estate market.
